Upani was beautiful, the rooms were huge and had a lovely balcony where you can watch the monkeys. Set in a very tranquil and green setting and only a short walk to the beach. Beautiful pool and communal areas and Mike was a brilliant host, always ready to answer any questions and lent me some books and a much-needed phone cable!

I really enjoyed my stay at Upani. Mike was always super attentive and made sure I felt at home. He also helped me arrange a tour to Funzi and gave some restaurant recommendations. The area is very calm and has nice restaurants and beaches around. Really recommend!

We have been very satisfied of our stay of 6 nights in Upani. The garden with the pool is very well taken care of and very beautiful, the room was really beautiful and clean. The beach, and nice restaurants are at a 3 minutes walk distance. We would like to mention the incredible kindness of Mike, the manager, and of the staff in general. He organized us a really nice trip to Tiwi and was always ready to help. He even surprised us with a bed full of flowers petals after we told him it was our honeymoon ! it was such a beautiful thing, many thanks again to him and everyone. We would definitely come back and recommend it.

Beautiful place. The silence and sounds of nature are amazing. Spacious rooms, nice swimming pool and all infrastructure. Very nice service. It's a real hidden paradise. We will definitely come back someday. Best regards!

Amazing place super close to the beach! We had the pool to ourselves all weekend and it was really really nice. lot's of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner close by foot. The manager Mike was sooo helpful! Thank you again Mike, you made our stay memorable. You are such a kind soul, keep up the good work :)

Lovely property, consisting of several cute small cottages surrounded by lush tropical vegetation in a quiet side street away from any noise and yet a 5' walk to one of the most stunning white sand beaches in the Indian Ocean. Extremely well maintained; rooms, garden, pool and common areas. Spacious, spotless and comfortable rooms. Strong wifi connection, access to a fully-equipped kitchen and lovely outdoor areas to just relax. Quiet pool area with sunbeds and a surprisingly deep pool -you can even enjoy night swims while admiring the beautiful vegetation. This spot would be already perfect enough for a lovely beach holiday, with plenty of options to explore around the Diani area (snorkelling, mangrove sunset sail...), but what truly makes this place SPECIAL is the staff. Each and everyone of them working at the property makes you feel extremely welcomed and taken care of since the minute you set foot into the place. A home away from home, they took care of us like family, helped us in every way they could and always had a smile and nice words every time we bumped into them. We are lucky enough to travel quite a lot and it is very rare to find such joy at an accomodation. We are grateful for the time we spent there and the lovely chats we had with each and everyone of them. Look no further, click the "book now" button and you won't regret it.

Very friendly staff (especially Mike). The property has a beautiful garden and pool. And a nice outdoor shower next to the pool. The beach is close. We were able to book a great chef over the property. And before we got there they offered to fill the fridge for us, with things that we needed.

Perfect location, easy to reach the beach, and with access to many nice cafes and restaurants. the property also has a lovely pool we enjoyed a lot. the best was the kindness of our host, Mike! he arranged so many things for us and was always easily available on the premises or via WhatsApp. we were so pleased with our stay!

The location was awesome and the staff was even better! The room looked exactly like the pictures and was perfect. The staff was awesome and so kind. We were able to buy coconuts from the maintenance man, and the manager was able to book us a shuttle back to the train. Awesome place to stay and would 10/10 recommend to family and friends!
Der Aufenthalt in der gemütlichen kleinen Villa von William und Jackie war wirklich ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Alles war super organisiert (von der super sympatischen property Managerin Winnie : ) Flughafentransfer, Ausflüge zum Marinepark, bis hin zum privaten Chefkoch auf Wunsch. Die beiden Häuser stehen in einem idyllischen großen Garten voller Bäume, Palmen und großen Pflanzen. Mann kann hier absolut relaxen und hat völlige Privatsphäre, wie in seinem eigenen kleinen Häuschen. Das Grundstück liegt sehr schön in ruhiger Umgebung und zum Strand (mit Strandbar und Restaurant Bidi Badu ) sind es nur ca 300m. Wenn man Lust hat andere Plätze zu erkunden gibt es einen Tuc Tuc Fahrer namens Wesley, der einen zu jeder Tages und Nacht Zeit sicher überall hin bringt. Für Jemand, der ein ruhiges gemütliches Zuhause etwas abseits vom touristischen Hotelanlagen sucht und für den direkter Meerblick kein absolutes Muss ist, sind die Upani Cottages genau die richtige Wahl! Tausend Dank nochmal an William und Jackie, Winnie, Evelyn, Chef Ali, Ascari, Pool guard und Wesley für die tolle Zeit
Upani home was truly a homecoming. The house manager Winnie was so warm hearted and welcomed us like family. We had food ordered from the market for the chef to prepare our meals (meals were wonderful). The Galu beach was a short walk away--less than a minute. After the beach we had a nice swim in the pool. At night we watched movies and there were so many to choose from on the digital box upstairs in the lodge. There were two balcony swings for sitting outside which was such a nice bonus to this already beautiful home. I wish I had planned the length of our stay here. I cannot wait to return on my next visit back to Diani beach!

This is the perfect oasis to call your own. From the moment we were greeted by Jenna, Rose and Caroline we instantly relaxed and settled into the comfortable rooms, large veranda and beautiful garden maintained by Joseph. Even though the pictures are amazing, in real life Upani is even more beautiful. The carers are wonderful. They couldn't be more accommodating, helpful and friendly. The house is cleaned everyday and so it always feels as if you just arrived. The beds are so comfortable and both rooms well fitted with mosquitos nets on doors and beds. A cook can be organised to extend the holiday feel. And it is only a 3 min walk from the beach, so with the private pool you have the best of both worlds. We would absolutely stay there again. Tomorrow if we could. :) Thank-you all so much for the most wonderful holiday ever.
Thanks so much for the hospitality. Jenner and Rosie are wonderful. Ali and his security team are always on alert! They were helpful throughout the stay. Beautiful compound of 1 house and 2 cottages with a relaxing pool area just ~5-10 minute walk from the beach. Accommodating house staff (especially Winnie - the property manager).
